La Catitera is a beautiful
restored cortijo or farmstead which was once used as an inn for
travellers bringing horses from Cadiar to the Lecrin Valley and
Granada . The house can comfortably accommodate up to 10 people.
Downstairs is the living area with an entrance hall leading to
the fully equipped kitchen/ dining room. This in turn leads on
to the large living room which has an open fire and an old disused
bread oven. There is also a playroom with toys and games. |

The sleeping accommodation is upstairs and is divided into three twin bedrooms and two doubles, these both have balconies. The house is surrounded by terraces for sunbathing, dining al fresco or simply soaking up the scenery! |

The swimming pool measures 11m by 5m and is set on a lower terrace immediately below the house. This terrace is reached by gated steps. . |

The cortijo is located in 20 acres of private orchards and olive groves with the banks of the Rio Guadalfeo running along its length. The village of Torvizcon has most amenities and is only a couple of kilometres away. Orgiva is only 15 minutes by car.
Cortijo La Catitera is owned and run by an Anglo-Spanish family with over 15 years experience in holiday rentals. It makes a fantastic holiday home for families or groups of friends, for exploring and enjoying all the area has to offer or simply taking it easy!
