Los Almendros is a traditional
cottage in the pretty mountain village of Nigüelas in
the Lecrin Valley, Andalucia, Spain. Near the beautiful city
of Granada .
The property sleeps 4 and has a large garden with pool
and air conditioning. It is situated at the edge of the
village with excellent walking and riding in the Sierra |
Nevada mountains a short walk away.Granada and
the Alhambra Palace are 20 minutes away by car, Costa Tropical
30 minutes and the nearest airport Malaga, is 1 hour 45 minutes
away.

| The cottage is a traditional, single storey house overlooking
the village with views of the valley and the mountains. It
has one double and one twin bedroom. The bathroom has a shower
and a bath (very necessary after a day’s hike in the
mountains)! The large kitchen/living room is light and airy
with French doors leading out to the garden and pool. |

It has air conditioning which
makes it very comfortable in the heat of the summer and
radiators and an open fire for the cooler winter months.
It has a lovely garden with a pool and almond and fig trees
which give welcome shade in the summer and is perfect for
relaxing and eating outside.
All the iron work around the house has been made by Adam
of Metalicarte. He would happily undertake small commissions.

Nigüelas |
 |
Nigüelas has excellent road links and
all the local attractions can easily be reached by car. It
is a lively, friendly village with numerous bars, restaurants
and shops. There are also many marked tracks for walking in
the mountains, or guided walks can be arranged. In winter
it is very popular with walkers and skiers as it is very beautiful
with the snow on the Sierra Nevada mountains. In September
the village holds it´s annual fiesta and for a week
it is alive with events and dancing late into the night. |
